To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. Not sure...but I think I read somewhere that Tylenol has killed more p... View full comment

Retin A completely dried out my skin to the point where I didn't even want to use it. The skin around my eyes was dry and red and it hurt to even blink. I was only prescribed to use it every other day and i could only use it two or three times a week because my face would hurt so bad. I got red, peeling, and the dry skin. Nothing helped. I stayed on it to see if anything would get better (since i was told it would go from worse to better) and nothing happened. I wasn't happy with this.

It definitely takes away the bacterial infection, but it takes way too long. I recently switched to Zithromax and it takes just five days or less to start feeling better

I have been experiencing vomiting and a little of diarrheal since using Candex. I thought I had food poison or something. I can't deal with these side effects, so I'm going to stop taking it.

I do weekly immunoglobulin subQ infusions. I used Chloraprep once a week, prior to insterting the 5 needles that are necessary for 1 treatment of immunoglobulin, . For the past 18 weeks, I've been using Chloroprep and have suffered with huge (4-5 inches) and burning welts at each infusion site. The welts would last for 2-3 days and required me to use prednisone and Benedryl to reduce the itching. My skin around the hives was very sensitive and felt like it had gotten very sunburned. For this... View full comment

I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid. He increased dose and it made me feel even more horrible. I will gradually stop taking this medication even though all endocrinologists are against my decision. I can not leave like this. I will d...
