Advil is a great OTC medication for minor pains. It's been effective on headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It is not always effective on stronger pains. I have also not suffered from any negative side effects.

Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC. Am aware of others who feel Parkinson's due to lipitor, and 2 who feel ALS due to lipitor.
