I have had Graves disease for twomyears now. The first approach was a gradully reducing dose of carbimazole, from 40mg down to 5mg. This took approximately a year. I have light headedness but it is improving. I have noticed a decrease in my hematocrit but do not know if it is caused by the diuretic effect. I have also noticed a slight weight increase.

Etodolac is the 4th anti-inflammatory I have tried, and it has worked the best for me. I don't like the anxious feeling I get from time to time after taking it, but I check my blood pressure and it is fine. I wish I didn't have to take 1000 mg a day of this drug, but it has helped the stiffness and pain a lot. I have been told there are a lot of drugs like this, and a person just needs to find the one that works the best for them.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity.
