I was on a variety of different fertility drugs for about 2 1/2 years. Decided that I didn't like the side effects of being on them, so I stopped taking all fertility drugs at once. In about 1 month after stopping all hormones, I started crying uncontrollably. I started having continual panic attacks and became severly depressed and suicidal. See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. I was prescribed Entocort for IBS (very loose stools) by my Gastro. I have been taking them now for almost 2 weeks with one capsule of "Align" probiotic. I have noticed absolutly no change and have discontinued its use.

First 18 months of treatments: smooth sailing. Then the infusion reactions started. They are starting earlier in the infusion and lasting longer after the infusion. It's scary, but we are trying to keep on top of it with anti inflammatory meds.
