I am age 50 and take this for alleviating peri-menopausal symptoms. My hot flashes include nausea and fainting, so I absolutely need a hormone replacement drug to keep me normal. The only side effect I have from being on this pill for one month is a bodily rash all over (like heat rash) and acne on my chest and neck! It's very gross! I have not found this medicine very satisfying and infact with the high-risks attached to it, with all its drawbacks, such as the persistent coughing, weight loss, headaches, joint & muscle pain, I am truly concerned as to what the devil is the "up- side" to this supposed RA disigner drug after all is said & done. I am possibly taking agomelatine. I have been on a study for about a month now (there is 1/4 chance I am receiving a placebo.) It might not be related at all but since I am taking this medication, I often wake up in the morning and my penis hurt. As if the blood pressure was too high. Not too sure what to do. It usually dont last more than an hour and I never have this problem during the day, its always early morning and it actually wakes me up because it is so painful.
