It's a horrible drug that is ineffective for pain. The doctors in my area prescribe it regularly as their drug of choice for pain. They refuse to give their patients anything better. It's awful.

Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

This drug is making me very sick. I took copaxone for 2 years previously but stopped for 1.5 yrs due to tissue erosion. almost 4 years later the dents in my body are still there and each injection seems to erode more tissue. I will be stopping copaxone for good and not using any of the disease modifying drugs. my fatigue has become soooo bad since re-starting the copaxone.
