Follow up to my original post: After the sixth week of taking the Zyflamend, and no return of the rosacea, I called my doctor, and the upshot is that he didn't think that it's being a COX2 inhibitor was a problem in and of itself (Vioxx was a unique problem), and said that he couldn't find Z., on the FDA's watch list, so I should feel free to experiment with no worries that he could predict. I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm.
