First time i have tried mucinex, usually fight off broncititus atleast twice a year, yes each major weather change spring and fall. Usually takes me 3 weeks to finally get back in gear each time. Tried mucinex this time took the extended release type 600 twice a day, it worked BUT I do have a warning to pass along. Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. I take Zyflamend for prostate cancer. It has been thoroughly researched and is recommended and prescribed by Columbia University's School of Urology, and also by University of Texas. So far, prostate problems have decreased considerably and I will continue to take it. Any benefit as an anti-inflammatory is welcome but secondary.

I was on 25mg for a year. I was fine. Doctor increased to 50mg a week ago and my head is about to explode. Headaches and migraines are driving me insane! Trying to figure out if that's momentary or not.
