The drug is highly effective and considered low risk. However, I tend to take medication only if it is really required. Otherwise, I try to avoid it if I can resist the fever/pain.

Have been on this for about 2 years now, it was a bit rough the first month, but each month got better. By the third month I felt normal. Had a bit of nausea during that time, but never threw up. No longer have irregular periods, and now they are much shorter and I don't feel sick when I have them. I would get off of these drugs and go for acupuncture and herbal treatments. It's not worth the side effects. When I took lisinopril for 3 months, I felt like I had the flu the entire time. My BP was only high at the PCP's office because they always managed to tick me off before I got in to see the Dr, then had to wait an hour or more. I switched from Arimidex to Aromasin because of extreme joint pain. During the first three years on Aromasin, I suffered from hot flashes and insomnia. The last two years the hot flashes are only occasional and the insomnia is a little better. I get tired easily, but considering the benefits against breast cancer, I can put up with it.
