At first, the medication caused nausea, so the doctors reduced the prescribed dosage for me and since the dosage was decreased, nausea also decreased and went away. Prominent side effects included constipation and weakness and there were multiple other mild side effects that went away as the dosage was decreased more.

I am on day 11 of 14 days and feel sick most of the time. If it gets rid of the rather resistant infection I suppose its worth it but I do feel depressed, probably because it's not a lot of fun to feel sick.

I have been having a difficult 2 months of seasonal allergy problems that has left me with a nasty & wicked cough from irritated bronchial tubes. This was the first time I tried Mucinex DM and I have had only 1 pill since starting it last night. First of all I slept through last night without waking up once, and today my cough has been reduced by at least 90%. Now that is a great product!

It worked for me. I had cystic acne on my back, chest, neck, face and after years of dealing with it I saw a dermatologist and he perscribed this. I had dry skin while on the drug but DUH! If you do any research about the drug it permanently changes your oil glands in your skin. I have noticed a slight chap lip years after I have taken it but no other side effects I have related to my accutane treatment. I wonder if my use of Asmanex could be causing my gums to be raw and sore. I never had that problem prior to taking it and brush and floss religiously.

I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.
