I started taking Vyvanse when Adderall XR stopped working for me about 2 years ago. At first the side effects were strong ( I started at 50 mg) including social reclusion, irritability, dry mouth, stomach problems, and loss of appetite- the problem was I didn't notice the social side effects- I just wanted to get things done and nothing else mattered. Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. When I have a head cold, I take Sudafed during the day. It takes my headaches away but makes me really drowsy, almost as if I'm taking Nyquil. I don't recommend it to be taken during the day.

I have been taking Lexapro for a while now, and it has helped me a lot. I was taking Prozac, but I had adverse side effects to that. This seems to have helped me a lot with my depression and anxiety.

I can't take estrogen based pills, so this seemed like a good option. For the most part it's been ok, but I've gained about 10 lbs and haven't been able to make it budge! I work out religiously and eat only around 1200 calories a day, and the weight keeps creeping on! I stopped taking my pills for about a week, and 5 lbs have already melted away!
