My thyroid lvls were low so doctor prescribed this to me 25 mg. once a day. I noticed a weight gain immediately, headaches, severe joint pain, my throat felt swollen or like a lump was in it and overall negative effects. Tarka is a great drug but I don't recommend buying it. The drug companies are way too proud of it and increase the price to the point that it is not affordable. The greed is sickening. Instead of paying $160 a month just get your doctor to prescribe Trandolapril + Verapamil hydrochloride separately. Two pills but the total cost is around $17 a month. Besides being ineffective, I am sufering from severe "brain zaps" while still taking the medication. I am also suffering from debilitating fatigue. This drug is not worth it and I'm afraid to come off of it due to the terrible withdrawals.
