I wish there was an alternative to this medication that worked as well. The yeast infections are unbearable, and the interaction with birth control (making it uneffective) is annoying.

Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana. I took this as prescibed for what i know now know to have been pneumonia. the discouraging part of this medication is that it is known to only work if taken within 2 days of a VIRAL infection. it is virtually useless otherwise...

I just tried it and feel a lot better , I have had terrible sciatic nerve pain in my hip and that goes down the leg for nearly 3 months. Its helped alot with the pain and relaxs the muscle spasms with sciatica pain. Also really seems to have helped with the inflammation which is why I mainly wanted to try it. So I recommend it too for anyone that is going through pain with sciatic pain/ inflammation.
