I suffer from an overactive thyroid problem and am aged 35, I never used to get any side affect from Carbimazole. After stopping taking the tablets for a few years I am back on them again. However, I cannot take them without being violently sick.

My libido seems to be lower with Armour thyroid. I read a study that showed that thyroid meds increase SHBG which then lowers free testosterone. My SHBG has been its lowest while taking Armour thyroid. Seems like more than just a coincidence.

Having taken clonazepam approx; for six years (chronic pain). April 2004 I underwent surgery for a spinalcord stimulator implant, which was very successful.
