My daughter got her first injection at age 20. Eleven days later she began having pelvic discomfort like a bladder infection. This and periodic anxiety continued for four months. Two months after receiving the second dose she began experiencing awful dizziness, headaches, anxiety/panic attacks, diarrhea. I'm 33 I have been on birth control pills since I was 18, I've been on so many different kinds I can't even count anymore....I've been on Junel for 2 months now, I feel like a lunatic, I cried hysterically over traffic!! I used this medication at nights, and when I had troubles trying to sleep due to my mind running and being anxious about the days ahead, it really helped me to slow down and get the rest that my body really needed. Although, it was a bit strange since it has side effects that might include hallucinations if I stayed awake for too long on it.

I thought it was the heat dehydrating me, humid weather causing arthritis flare-ups, menopause symptoms coming back, all at once. And maybe even something wrong with my thyroid medicine (a bad batch or needing a dosage increase) But symptom got worse when we went away from the heat on vacation.Towards end of our vacation my husband insisted I stop taking it and I immediately began to feel better.
