My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. Remeron has been a wonderful drug for me. It has relatively few side effects, and they are much more tolerable than the SSRIs. I do have daytime drowsiness and increased appetite, AND I feel impatient and a bit angry sometimes. But all in all i have a better outlook on life since starting, am sleeping better and happier overall.

This just doesn't work. I keep it just as a rescue inhaler because I'm seriously asthmatic and take Advair Diskus religiously. When that fails me (occasionally) I've always used albuterol, but now they took my old standby away I'm stuck with this. Frankly, having a cup of coffee works a whole lot better. I marked that it had made my stress level go up because yeah, it's kind of stressful when you CAN'T BREATHE and your rescue inhaler doesn't rescue you.

I switched from Effexor (300mg) to Prestiq (100mg) and was on Prestiq for 2 weeks. It was horrible. My paranoia was horrible, felt like everyone is talking about me behind my back, even feel like one coworker is trying to get me fired. I have at least 1 panic attack a day (never used to have them so much). I'm switching over to effexor. I know that prestiq is basically the same as effexor (already broken down), but maybe my body needed to break the effexor down. I'll keep you updated as... View full comment
