I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting). I called my doctor and she's switching me to the regular Seasonique, but I'm only going to give it one pack and if things don't get better, I'm going to see about switching completely. I take low-ogestrel for birth control. Previously I was on NuvaRing, which I really liked and recommend. However, I was travelling in hot climates and NuvaRing needs to remain cool and I could not always keep it refrigerated, so I had to switch to low-ogestrel. I did not have any side effects with NuvaRing (skin complexion improved) and effects with low-ogestrel have been minor, but I don't like that I have to remember it everyday, because I don't.

As a physician, I've fielded numerous complaints from my patients indicating Proair was not an effective rescue inhaler. AS a result, I no longer prescribe it. Suffering from reactive airway disease (RADs) myself, I need to use an inhaler on occassion, and was given Proair recently. It just doesn't work. Period. My concern is this - how many lives have been put in jeopardy by patients desparate for relief of acute symptoms, and finding no reiief w/ the use of Proari in an emergent setting?

Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects.
