I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. have been on Effexor 12 yeas after trying several others Have found the XR dosing not as effective as the 3/times per day. have tried chging medications, however the withdrawal symptoms have not been worth it, so I continue on Effexor, the most effective for me
