My daughter has been diagnosed with Juveniele Idiopathic Arthtritis which has caused inflammation in her wrists, knees, ankles, lining of the lungs/chest cavity, and the spine. She also has been diagnosed with Raynaud's. Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. I initially took this drug and there was no noticeable action and then I felt horrible for 3 - 4 and then much better. I couldn't sleep due to my sinus problems and was extremely stuffy. The drug does the job - just takes a while to do so!
