Synthroid never affected me positively. It never resolved my symptoms and not only that, it allowed them to continue. I never got better; I only got worse. I found Armour thyroid and have never looked back. Synthroid; levoxyl, and their ilk do nothing but make money for their makers. They give a false hope, while Armour gives true hope and true theraputic value. Synthetics shoud be thrown off the market. They are worthless drugs.

While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. I have recurrent UTIs and so my doctor often prescribes me cipro. The UTI usually goes away after about 3 days of medication. I love how quickly cipro relieves the pain, however, it is important that you take all of the medication prescribed and that the doctor gives you enough as you can become resistant and/or get a kidney infection if not all of the bacteria is killed.

I was prescribed Cloxazolam about 7 years ago by a Neurologist in Portugal due to an irritating vibration felt in my head & neck, particularly when trying to sleep. The drug just helped me to sleep a little better. I started to reduce the dose to 1mg several weeks ago from the 2mg prescribed and then to 1/2mg 3 weeks ago and now I have stopped completely. Benadryl is a great medicine to stop an allergic reaction. I take the 12.5 childrens grape chewables and usually only need to take one to stop my reaction. The only downfall is it makes me a little sleepy

This birth control has been effective in preventing pregnancy, but has not completely alleviated my menstrual cramps. I like that I can take this medication continually without spotting or menstruating and that it has a low dosage of hormones.
