Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

Retin-A Micro was prescribed to me by my dermatologist for my acne. He said that it would increase my break outs only to speed up the process and treat my acne problem more quickly, "get all of it out from under the skin" as he put it. I was very nervous about it, and I thought my face was going to erupt after using it. I honestly didn't notice much of an increase in my acne condition. Vicodin made to Nauseaous and Dizzy / Delirious that I had to switch to Darvocet. Since I have a very high tolerance to pain medication, it took the "edge" off of my pain, but it was so small an amount of pain relief that it was not worth the side effects for me.

This is a great birth control. It does affect sex drive, though. It's nice that injections are every three months instead of a pill everyday. The injection site does hurt for up to three days after day of injection. Have had no period, cramping, bleeding, bloating, or headaches for a year now which is great!

I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's!
