Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

Before taking zoloft, I had such a bad mental clarity, I kept forgetting words, I couldnt concentrate or focus and I felt as though my mind was always foggy. I had a very bad short term memory (which is very unlike me) and I would forget small things, and forget appointments, etc. It got to the point where I couldnt do my work. I took this only once, and it produced extreme chest tightness, breathing problems, stomach problems, severe dizziness, and anxiety. Within hours of taking it, I felt like someone had a fist in my chest, my breathing was labored, and I was so dizzy I was knocking into the walls. I'm still having some of these symptoms (though quite reduced) after three days. I've seen others on other sites reporting the exact same symptoms, yet dr "not sure" it's the medication.

I have been taking Zoloft since August 2009. I was prescribed this medication after seeing a phychiarist due to anxiety. The anxiety was from an allergy medicine called Xyzal which was prescribed to my last April 2009. Well needless to say this allergy medication caused real bad hallucinations which caused me to go to the hospital. It was a very bad experience being on this medication. I definitely suffered through rough side affects, and I would not want anyone else being on it if they have to go through the same conditions.

anytime i generally get a headache I use advil, and it seems to work pretty well. No problems with any kind of sideaffect, I dont use it often just when severe headache.
