My doctor recently switched me from pravastatin to simvastatin, since - despite weight loss and adding regular exercise and fish oil - my total cholesterol levels began to rise again. I had a very hard time when I first started the Cipralex, You name the side effect I had it, nausea, lack of appetite, problems with sleeping, crazy vivid dreams, dizzy, couldnt concentrate, anxiety (which i never had before). Those got better after about 2-3 wks of being on it. I was having the problem of tiredness so my doctor increased my dose so I take a half tab before bed. I was prescribed Entocort for IBS (very loose stools) by my Gastro. I have been taking them now for almost 2 weeks with one capsule of "Align" probiotic. I have noticed absolutly no change and have discontinued its use.

To those who had bad stomach reactions to Candex, did you make sure and drink it with a FULL 8 oz. (even more if you can) glass of water? Very important as Candex is all enzymes and they will upset your stomach if not diluted! Ambien is great, it helps me sleep much better. The only thing that I dont like about it is that it makes me a little groggy in the morning and sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and eat.

I have light headedness but it is improving. I have noticed a decrease in my hematocrit but do not know if it is caused by the diuretic effect. I have also noticed a slight weight increase.
