The generic name of this medication is flucytosine and the brand name is Ancobon.
The active ingredient of this medication is flucytosine. The inactive ingredients include, corn starch, lactose and talc, butylparaben, methylparaben, propylparaben,
sodium propionate, black iron oxide, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6,
FD&C Yellow No.10 and titanium dioxide.
This medication is used in the treatment of serious fungal infections and is generally administered in combination with another medication called amphotericin B.

Diarrhea;

Loss of appetite;

Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients;
Renal disorders.
It is also not recommended in pregnant women; those that are planning on becoming pregnant and nursing mothers.
