a drug from hell. i'm dying from it. don't take poison. over 50 side effects. this isn't a drug its torture.

I am inquiring for my partner who had a stroke Jan2, 2012. He has been on risperidone for a a year and a half with one table per day. He just recently stopped taking due to VA refusing to use. But his county health doctor was still prescribing so he asked to stop it as of this last week and has been off it for 4 days so far.

I was not generally satisfied overall, particularly because of the need to get numerous blood tests to monitor possible side effects as well as weight gain. I would have been more satisfied if my condition had improved more but it didn't.

i take reperidone for psychosis and being bi-polar. i take 6 mg. a day in 2 divided doses.
