The Ultram caused slight dizziness in the beginning which stopped after taking it for a while. It caused really significant memory problems initially. Now, when taking the medication, I mix my words up sometimes; but I do not feel confused. I can pretty much function normally. But I would use this drug cautiously in the elderly! I have been losing my hair for about a year now, but now I have patches of baldness on my head. I'm 64 yrs old and there are no bald or balding women in our family. My hair had always been extremely thick and managable. So for this to be happening to me is truly devastating.

I loved Mononessa except for having somewhat frequent yeast infections (about 1 every 3 months). Also, sometimes my skin would get extremely sensitive. Like when I went to wax my eyebrows the skin would literally come off and when I brushed my teeth the skin in my mouth would peel off. My skin would only get like that every once in a while and it would stay like that for about a week.

With any antibiotic, it's good to stick with the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. Although I felt better in a few days, failure to take the pills until the end of the noted time caused the pain to return--that's how bacterial resistance develops!
