The blood clot potential is very high relative to the same side effect in other birth control tablets. I think the testing process should be extended by the FDA to ensure consumer safety.

When I began to use cymbalta I noticed dizziness, rapid heartbeat, increased bloodpressure, however fibro pain seemed quite improved as well as energy. Difficult to sleep. I deal with long term chronic pain (1980) fibro diagnosis, arthritis, lymphedema & lipidema. I wanted to "believe". Became Zombie like. Memory loss severe as well as cognitive abilities. I take vitamin C to improve my immune health. Overall, I think it works but can't really prove it because I never had frequent cold symptoms to begin with. I figure a pill a day can't hurt.

Doctors seem to hand this stuff out like candy to kids. When my kid started with asthma we went alternative and got her off the drugs ASAP--I really regret getting hooked on Ventolin all those years ago. My daughter is fine now--no symptoms at all. Her doctor was really thrilled and really surprised. She was off meds in 3 months after being really bad, and with a family history...I was lucky he was supportive; most docs aren't.
