Benzamycin greatly aided in clearing up my acne, but in the long run, it made my skin very dry and irritated. I had to discontinue using it. With a moisturizer, my skin still suffered. Overall, it is effective but I would not recommend it for sensitive skin.

I started taking Tri Sprintec in 2007, because I went to college and our health center only had generics (I had previously been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about 3 months prior). I took Tri Sprintec for about 3 years, and was fine, aside from the abysmally low libido. Last month, however, during my last week of active pills in my pack, I almost completely lost my appetite; the very smell of food would make my stomach turn. I also starting having severe anxiety and depression, I was paranoid, and... View full comment

I have endometriosis and was prescribed YAZ for my birth control to help my symptoms and clear up my acne. While it worked for the first 8 months or so, all of a sudden my period just wouldn't end. I continued bleeding, all the time non stop no matter what pill in the pack I was on. I went to the doctor and tried taking Naproxen with the YAZ to see if that would help kick start the YAZ back to action, but to no avail. I am switching off of the YAZ in a few days because of this. No longer taking copaxone, as was not effective at all for me. Did like it much better than the interferons, no flu like side effects. MS progressed rapidly while taking it. Did have the immediate post injection reaction once, which is not an allergic reaction. Was scary, but still continued with this therapy. Found out after all the attacks and MRI's that the daily shot was a waste of time and money.

Prescribed by my doctor after surgery and it was a horrible experience. Did not want to take after the first time. Drug put me in a different mind frame. Very incoherent and dizzy with inability to clear mind. Very strange experience. Better able to tolerate the pain than this drug.
