I wish this drug was available in the US. It is a very popular drug in the rest of the world. I know it was a taken off the shelves in a few countries for some kidney problems that might have been caused in young children and others by it, so I am sure it will never make it here, but it is an effective pain killer if taken moderately, maybe not every day. I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! I recieved a cortiosone injection in my shoulder yesterday and almost 5 minutes after having it done I had nausea and the worst headache I have ever had. I also was very weak. I tried to work but had to come home and once I did a slept from 2pm - 8pm when I woke up with a 102.1 fever. I took 1000 mg of tylenol and it still didnt break my fever. My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

When I take nuvigil in the morning I feel awake and focused during the day, if I don't take it I have no motivation to do anything and I just want to sleep all day. It does have days when it makes me feel euphoric and it has days when it makes me feel irritated and angry. I usually always feel jittery while taking it unfortunately.
