i feel this way after almost one year (half that year was on the generic microgestin), and finally realized my feeling may be a side effect of junel. thought it was just me and didn't know how to control my mood. cryin right now actually :( i think i may skip tonight's pill and just stop birth control for good. the hormones are horrible for the environment anyways. i plan to start using condoms and natural family planning instead. ....or i may just try the ring bc it is supposedly much lower... With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. I did not want to take it initially because I'm used to over the counter remedies, but at the suggestion of my chiropractor, I decided to take it. I am pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of it. At the same time, I feel a bit relieved that I am not taking too many over the counter anti-inflammatories anymore. I'm not really interested in burning out my liver and/or kidneys!

The best form of birth control medication I have ever tried. The only thing that I don't like is having to remember to take it everyday. I tried Nuva Ring for a few months, but I had an allergic reaction. I switched back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen lo, and it has been great ever since. My cramps hardly exist, my periods are short with a very light flow, and my mood swings are under control.
