Honestly, this medication did not really work for me. I had to switch to a more effective one, and I just don't remember the name of that one. But chloramphenicol was just useless, and with so many side effects, I used to wonder whether or not it was not worsening the symptoms of my typhoid fever.

I love this medication. It is one of the only cough medicines that really work for me. It last almost the whole time it is supposed to unlike other cough medicines, because it's thick enough to coat my throat. I also love the orange flavor that it comes in. The grape flavor I don't care for as much.

I have been taking Lybrel for just over a year. I noticed my eyebrows thinning and initially thought it was due to a bad wax job. However, they have continued to thin dramatically. I used this drug in my insulin pump. I have to take a bolus and a recommended amount prescribed by my doctor according to my A1C. In my opinion it is not much different from the insulin I take now. The only reason I changed insulin is because my new insulin was more readily available to my endocrinologist.
