My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

I am using it for 6 weeks now, I whole thyroid was removed. I am experiencing headache, fatigue, my dosage is only 112, trying to find the right dosage. Does anyone know any natural thyroid replacement? Pls help. Millie

I take carbimazole and had very swollen eyes.A very good specialist opperated on them and took away all the fatty tisue.The difference it made to my self confidence is imeasurable.I could not thank this man enough.That was twelve months ago. I often have to switch my birth control because it doesn't always relieve my pain. Microgestin has been effective until recently. Just last month was a very heavy and painful period. I also had irregular bleeding 2 weeks before my usual period. I'm unsure if this is normal or a problem with Microgestin, but it will be discussed with my doctor. Either way, it was an uncomfortable month and quite inconvenient.

To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription.
