I am 17, and have been on Ortho tri-cyclen since i was 15. I really like it, except that it is hard to remember to take, and i have had many pregnancy scares. I have an appointment to get mirena, but aftrer looking at reviews, I am considering cancelling my appointment. I went on Moban in December 2009. It helped me at first but after a while, I have become more dysfunctional with my daily jobs such as showering and brushing my teeth. I have been struggling more with my school. I have lost weight which is a positive for me. But I also have had headahces causing me to take Ibuprofen up to 3 times a day at times. MY muscles have become stiff but my doc says it is not tardivdyskinesia because it is only one side of my body(1 leg,1 arm, 1 foot etc)

My 6 year old son developed severe painful hives all over his body. His feet and hands became so swollen and painful that he refused to walk and could not even play anything that involved using his hands. This is the worst reaction I have ever seen in four children. I will never allow my kids to take this drug again.

As far as I'm concerned, Prozac is the best drug created by medical science. For those of us with brain disorders like depression, OCD and anxiety, this med is a miracle. It would be impossible for me to fully describe the beneficial effects I've gotten from Prozac on this website. My life is unbelievably, overwhelmingly better because of fluoxetine. I'll take it every day for the rest of my life.
