I have been on Simcor @1000mg/20mg for 1 year and my test results in the lab are meeting mine and Dr.'s goals set but I emphasize lab reports. I would talk to your doctor about Lexapro. I tried cymbalta for a few months and had really bad side effects. I did gain a few pounds but it wasnt very noticeable. The main problem I had was that it made me very lethargic and I could barely function on a day to day basis. I am taking Lexapro now and I love it. I have had no side effects whatsoever and if anything it has curbed my appetite.
