I had to stop taking lyrica cause the depression that it caused had gotten so bad that i started thinking about doing irrational things. when i wouldn't take it i was fine mentally when i did take it , i was hysterical and had thoughts of suicide.

I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. Celebrex works for me and increases my ease of mobility. However, I itch like a crazy woman in my hands and on my lower parts of my fingers. I bite them, they itch so much. I have several patches where I have virtually rubbed off the skin on my hands! It also helps with my hip arthritis. Other than the side effects, it is a good drug, but God knows what it is doing to my heart or liver.

I have an injection once every 6 months I have no side effects ,I lift weights and work out 4 x a week and do a lot of juicing in my diet I have stage iv prostate cancer metastases to bone,I feel pretty healthy all things considered its been three years
