Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern. Zyrtek worked great in the first few months that I used it. I had to stop because of the frequent headaches that I started getting. A few months ago I decided to try it again when my allergies were really bad and I got another bad headache and haven't used it since.

In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens. For the first year that I was taking Yaz it was great - regular and much lighter periods, zero cramps, zero PMS.
