Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. Tums has been an effective antacid for me. I've used it for years. I don't like the texture/taste but you get used to it.

It took some time to adjust the medication. The initial dose was too high for me. I was crying, upset and had not motivation to be active. After the dose was lowered, my happiness returned but some of the pain as returned too.

I have been on it fairly 2 weeks and its way to early to give any evaluation but as far as i can feel the loss of energy is interfering with my daily chores.Otherwise it has definitely reduced my anxiety and anger issues and i feel generally way calmer.
