My doctor recommended Lantus. It is more expensive and less effective than the NPH I was taking. I was on 2 injections per day before Lanus. Now I have to take short acting insulin before each mean and Lantus before bed. I feel like a pin cushion and my blood sugars are no better. Taking the extra insulin has caused weight gain. i have been on yaz for 1 month and have not experienced any possitive effects! I started the pill as directed and have had my period none stop for 1 month since!i am going to continue taking the pill and see it gets better.

This pill has given me nothing but problems from the start. During the first few months I experienced weight gain, very sore breasts, mood swings, and worst of all hair loss. I would lose large clumps in the shower everyday. Also my periods were completely erratic. I was more regular when I was on no birth control.
