I had been having a hard time breathing for a few months and, knowing that I had asthma, I decided to get a refill on my inhaler. I was on so many medications, it is difficult to differentiate which medication was causing what side effect. The psychiatrist at the residential treatment center put me on the benadryl because I was unable to sleep more than 2 hours per night. The trazadone was not helping me sleep either.
