I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me. I take Tums because I like the taste and although I am not low on calcium, I consider them safe as a calcium supplement- if taken as directed. They work for indigestion, too, but if I take one on an empty stomach I get stomach pains.

I don't use tylenol unless I really have to, and it is usually in very small amounts and only for temporary relief of a headache. It is effective almost always.

Claritin-D 24 hour has been the best remedy for my allergies for years. I also find that the Claritin that treats "allergy and congestion" is more effective than simple the "allergy" tablets.

Green tea is good for relaxing. Drink it occasionally, just helps me mellow out, more placebo effect I think than anything else, although I know it's good for you.

Generally my experience has been good as my blood pressure is now under control.. I am taking three other drugs; Simvastatin 20 mg tablets, 1 per day and Omeprazole 20 mg capsules, 1 per day and 2 Benedryl tablets per night. I have experienced some dizziness, some depression, several bouts of optic migraine, slight to medium daily constipation, some slight weight gain, some memory difficulties (could be age related).
