The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. After finding out I had Graves Disease and thyrotoxicosis in January 2010 I was put on carbimazole (think I had symptoms for nearly a year but always put them down to something else, maybe "change of life" etc) After only 6 days I had a severe allergic reaction to the carbimazole that nearly lost me my life! I confess overall i am very happy with Amisulpride, as I feel happier, more confident, less anxious, less phobias, less weight, more sexual energy, less funny thoughts, less depressed. But, I also feel confused, drowsy, with severe insomnia and abstract concentration difficulties. 8 out of 10!

I have been on this for 4 weeks and I do feel a bit better finally, I am smiling and that has got to be good. I expected it to be faster and more dramatic. Have had no severe side effects however I was nauseous and had dizzy spells to start with but they have pasted . Have started to feel breathless this week and teeth clenching - not sure if that is the pristiq or just me. As i am feeling better in myself i plan on starting to exercise and see if that helps too
