I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size. Honestly, this medication did not really work for me. I had to switch to a more effective one, and I just don't remember the name of that one. But chloramphenicol was just useless, and with so many side effects, I used to wonder whether or not it was not worsening the symptoms of my typhoid fever.
