I am age 50 and take this for alleviating peri-menopausal symptoms. My hot flashes include nausea and fainting, so I absolutely need a hormone replacement drug to keep me normal. The only side effect I have from being on this pill for one month is a bodily rash all over (like heat rash) and acne on my chest and neck! It's very gross! I was on Prozac for over a year when I first started taking it. My mother says I seemed to have a better attitude and I was altogether getting better. Then, in December 2008, I abruptly stopped taking it. I had a host of withdrawal symptoms and worsening depression and thoughts. claritin is awesome because it relieves all of my allergies with just one small pill in the morning without the drowsy side effects that other allergy drugs like benadryl cause
