I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! Off-label prescription for insomnia, co-administered with other serotonergics by an incompetent PA. Only took 7 half-doses, spaced over 2 weeks. Profound neurotoxic reaction included shock sensations, hallucinations of vibration, and eye-movement irregularities (seemingly permanent, as it has been over a year now).
