Honestly, this medication did not really work for me. I had to switch to a more effective one, and I just don't remember the name of that one. But chloramphenicol was just useless, and with so many side effects, I used to wonder whether or not it was not worsening the symptoms of my typhoid fever.

I used Levora (Nordette generic) for over 5 years and it was great. However, I really like the idea of less periods. I have only taken it for a few weeks so I am not sure yet how I feel about Seasonique. I have expereinced some pretty extreme anxiety which I cannot attribute to any external situations (things are actually pretty calm in my life right now). I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. Do not mix this drug with alcohol. In the end I stopped taking it because my main reason for taking it was that I had too much anxiety to go out with friends to bars/social e... View full comment

I am currently expiriencing severe back problems and it's a dilemma. The M.D prescribed (Morphine Sulfate) which is used to treat agonizing pain. I was told to take it (bid), of course running the risk of possibly becoming addicted to the narcotic. I took it as prescribed by necessity and recommendation. Side-effect I endured while on it was anticipation and restlessness. Subsequently, a period of time went by and learning to ignore the effects, I benefited of the outcome which was relieving...
