I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. Seems like good stuff- very mild and more effective then Saw Palmetto and other herbal options. Not sure about long term effects. I don't have prostate cancer or enlargement, but makes sense to use this as a prophylactic for 90 days just to be sure. Seems to work on both subtile and grosser levels.
