Since menopause at age 58, I weighed 135 lb. I quit smoking 2-1/2 years ago and gained 15 lb. Lost that 15 lb. but then was diagnosed with emphysema 6 months after I quit smoking. I tried for 5 days,and had all the worst symptoms you can. I even lost my mojo. After 5 days I stopped taking the medicine cold turkey, got my mojo back, and during withdraw I had the nicest dreams. I am going back to 5-HTP and other naturopathic anti depressants. They worked best for me. Better then being high all day and not sleeping for more then 2 hours at a time.

I am on day 8 of prevpac for h pylori gastritis. Diarrhea, strange taste in mouth and dry mouth started from day 1, but they did not bother me so much. From day 6 I started stomachache and severe fatigue, tachycardia. I am wondering whether I should stop the med. I learned that in Japan this same combination of medications are prescribed only for 7 days as the standard treatment for h pylori and there is much higher incidence of h pylori infection in Japan. This drug is absolutely AWFUL!!!!! If I feel good one day out of a week it's a miracle. The abdominal pain, gas, bloating, constipation and dirreah is worse than being diabetic. I'm sick all the time and feel like I have a permanent hangover. If you can take something else, or better yet, not at all....do it. This drug cure is worse than the ailment.
