I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. Cipro made my typhoid fever go away quickly, which was a big relief because it was such an uncomfortable illness. Itchiness ensued as I was ending the medication, but that also could have been due to the fact that I had gotten scabies as well - (I was in Indonesia)...
