Started taking Aleve for arthritis inflammation and after initial dosage of 3-4 tablets a day, now take one per day. On those days of extra work, outside in yard for instance, I take another in late afternoon or early evening for pain relief.

When I take nuvigil in the morning I feel awake and focused during the day, if I don't take it I have no motivation to do anything and I just want to sleep all day. It does have days when it makes me feel euphoric and it has days when it makes me feel irritated and angry. I usually always feel jittery while taking it unfortunately.

I've been taking this medication for almost 2 years now. It is absolutely great in controlling my acne and I haven't seen improvements like this with anything else. It is extremely effective and works almost immediately. I wouldn't know what to do without it. Apart from the dry lips and skin, and frequent thirst, the medicine does induce depression in me, to the extent of people asking if something is wrong. Definately helped me to stabilize my moods. When my spouse is gone though I can have bouts of suicidal thoughts, lack of energy. Need a booster with it. Very dysfunctional if a dose is missed in 12 hrs- dizzy, heart palpatations, unbalanced severely. But my life is still better with it
