Concerta was the first ADHD medication I ever took. I took it for about a year, and during that time it worked very well. I would say that it is one of the best medications I have ever taken for ADHD. As I continued to take it, I noticed that it wasn’t working as well for me. I felt extremely unfocused, almost as if I constantly had a blank stare. I also began to get very dizzy and walking from one class to another was sometimes very difficult.

Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. I've recently discovered that I'm suffering from candida which apparently is a side-effect of Advair. I'm not at all happy about this! Also my skin is incredibly dry - not sure if that's because of Advair side-effects or not.
